About R

R is a program used for statistical analysis. It can perform simple statistical tests, but it can also perform very complex statistical analyses. Some might have heard of other program such as MiniTab or SAS. These are similar program which offer a different kind of experience. However, R is free and has a thriving community that supports it. It is also used heavy in statistical research projects.

We wanted to create a place where any individual can learn how to use R.  Many times we have heard that R is too intimidating as it is code heavy. We believe that you can learn R.  The language of R is much simpler than that of other coding languages.  We want you to take this journey with us as R is an powerful program that an do amazing things.  Plus, it is free, so it will not cost you anything to learn it.  It can run on almost anything, so it is also highly accessible.
